If you’re looking for an affordable, comfortable and accessible space for community groups, meetings, fitness, teaching lessons, concerts/recitals, plays, camps, workshops, seminars, weddings, funerals, meditation or yoga, family gatherings etc. we have space available for you! We are conveniently located close to the MacDonald Bridge at 44 Hester St – Google Maps in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia.
The Sanctuary has a total capacity of 195 people. The sanctuary is approximately 15 meters long and 12 meters wide. The sanctuary is accessible by stairs or an elevator. A sound system is available.
The Lower Hall is approximately 17 meters by 10 meters. Capacity is 190 people. It has a stage approximately 8 meters by 3 meters. Sound system is available. There are two washrooms and a meeting room off the hall. The Meeting Room is approximately 8 meters by 7 meters
The Kitchen is approximately 12 meters by 4 meters and includes 12 meters of counter space. It comes equipped with three sinks, 2 stoves and 2 fridges.
Rental Rates:
Sanctuary $250/day; $125/half days; additional hourly rate of $50
Lower Hall $250/day; $125/half days; additional hourly rate of $50
Sanctuary and Hall – $275/day
Meeting room $175/ day; $100/half day; additional hourly rate of $50
Whole building – $400/day
Parking lot/no tables – $75/day
with tables – $100/day
Set–up tear down (if needed) – $50
Sound system operator- $150/2 hr block
