Worship this week: It’s the third week of Lent and this week marks a turning point in Jesus’ understanding of his ministry. It’s high drama as Jesus tries to get some rest from the crowds and we see a side of him we don’t normally see! We continue with our Lenten theme of Who Are the People in our Neighbourhood by welcoming Jennifer Myers from the Brain Association of Nova Scotia. We will also celebrate communion this week.

This week is shaping up to be a little lighter than my week has been since Christmas (I say that with a great deal of trepidation) and I am not doing anything to add anything to it.
Monday – Writing this message, contacting a contractor, my monthly Zoom call with other Intentional Interim Ministers in North America, it’s been a couple of months since I’ve been able to join them and I’m looking forward to it.

Tuesday – I’ll be connecting with Tamara to review all the details regarding worship, meet with the Worship Committee, Jessie and I are meeting after that.
Wednesday – Food Bank first thing in the morning, a meeting with Jim, Sam and a contractor, deliver some of the grocery cards in the neighbourhood and perhaps get a start on my sermon.
Thursday – In addition to attending to the last minute administrative details (Jack, I promise I’ll send you the livestream Power Point this week!) I’ve registered for a webinar entitled The Advantages of Disadvantages: How Current Struggles in Children’s, Youth, and Family Ministry Can Become Long-Term Opportunities
Friday is one of my days off, where I try and practice a Tech Sabbath, I don’t check my email, but you can always reach me by phone in an emergency. I FAILED MISERABLY LAST WEEK! I didn’t even take the day off really as I ran around trying to figure out a way to create a rainbow candle.
